Prof. Katsuyoshi Kondoh Osaka University Japan Katsuyoshi KONDOH received his Ph.D. degree in Welding Engineering from Osaka University in 1998. He worked in Sumitomo Electric Industries, from 1988 to 2000. Since February 2000, he was an Associate Professor, The University of Tokyo until March 2006. He is a Professor of Joining and Welding Research Institute (JWRI) of Osaka University (OU), and an Assistant Executive Director in charge of Global Engagement at OU from August 2016 until August 2019. He is also an Invited Professor at Xi’an University of Technology, China from April 2019. He has published >300 journal papers, patent applications >130, Plenary, Keynote & invited inter. conf. presentations >40. He is also the Editorial Board Members of the journals related to Materials Science & Engineering research field.
