Dr. Minoru Osada is a Professor at Institute of Materials and Systems for Sustainability (IMaSS) and Department of Materials Chemistry, Nagoya University, Japan. He received his PhD in Materials Science from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1998. He worked as a special postdoctoral fellow at RIKEN, a PRESTO researcher at Japan Science and Technology Agency, a senior researcher at NIMS, a principal investigator at WPI-MANA, NIMS and a professor at Waseda University. In 2018, he moved to current position. He has been working on the creation of new nanoscale materials and the exploration of their novel functions. His recent focus is put on 2D oxide nanosheets. He has published more than 250 papers in international journals including Nature Mater., Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater., ACS Nano, J. Am. Chem. Soc, Energy Environ. Sci..
